Virgin Corporation founder Richard Branson revealed that his mother, Eve, had passed away from the Corona virus, in a blog Greetings Monday.
Branson said Eve, who was 96 when she died, „has maintained one last victory, and has managed to fight the virus, but put all her energy into the process.”
However, Branson said that rather than mourning her loss, he wanted to „celebrate her wonderful life, her immense spirit, the joy she brought so many, and the love she gave to all of us.”

After the war, Eve toured Germany as a ballet dancer, acted on stage in London’s West End and worked as an air hostess for the „treacherous” British Airways South America.
Branson said his mother was „creative, fearless, and relentless – she was an entrepreneur before the word appeared.”
His mother was also the founder of the Yves Branson Foundation, a small non-profit that aims to improve the lives of women and girls in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, and provide access to education and healthcare.
